Submissions for the Spring 2023 Film Photo Award are now open! As proud sponsors of the award, we encourage all US-based film photographers to submit their proposals.

SPRING 2023 is OPEN!

DEADLINE: April 9 @ midnight est

A couple important announcements:

1. We are very pleased to now be partnered with Fractured Atlas @fractured.atlas as our fiscal sponsor, which allows for donations made in support of the Film Photo Award to be tax deductible. The Film Photo Award relies on generous donations to sustain the film grants it provides. Now, donors can enjoy the benefits of a tax deduction for their kind support of the film photography community. The link to donate is on the homepage of the website.

2. Starting Spring 2023, the Film Photo Award will no longer be international, instead only United States based photographers will be eligible for the film grants. This is due largely because of limitations in the fiscal sponsorship, but we see it as an opportunity to focus and highlight film photography work being made throughout the United States. Should the opportunity arise to make this film grant international again, we would love to do so.
